Bradley Sinclair, BA, MA, LLB
Partner, Manager of the Calgary office and senior lawyer for Residential Real Estate in the firm. In addition to Residential Real Estate transactions, he also practices in the area of Wills/Estates, Family Law and Child Welfare, and Corporate and Commercial transactions.
Bradley was born in Calgary and graduated High School at Chestermere. He attended the U of Calgary, obtaining a BA(1985) and MA(1989) in political science and history. Bradley graduated from U of Alberta law (1992) and was called to the bar in 1993 after articling for a year in Edmonton.
While obtaining my Master’s degree in 1988/89, I was faced with the choice of pursuing further academic studies and going a Ph.D. route toward a career as a University academic or pursuing a career in law or education. Considering the options at the time, I chose to go into law because it provided me with the opportunity to work for myself, build a business and continue to challenge myself intellectually and academically. It’s impossible to say whether another path would have been more rewarding, but I can honestly say that I am happy with my life and work and I do not regret my choices.
He has been an active member of the Canadian Bar Association for the past 20 years, and former chairperson and executive member of the South Alberta Residential Real Property section. Bradley has also been an instructor with the Legal Education Society of Alberta, the SAIT legal assistant program, Law Society Bar Admission course, and current member of the Real Estate Council of Alberta Real Estate Lawyer Advisory Council. He spends hundreds of hours a year providing pro bono legal services in the community.
In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, gardening, hiking, camping and traveling. I also enjoy and play tennis and golf.
